  1. I ordered myself a small amount of 'Jamieson & Smith' and 'Jamieson's of Shetland' wool.  I keep seeing the most beautiful projects everywhere so I'm going to try it for myself.  It's not normally the kind of thing I'd use so I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like.

Jamieson's of Shetland, from left to right: two natural white and one each of china blue, cloud, rose, blossom and lemon.  I love the very subtle differences in the pink and blue shades.

The 'Jamieson & Smith' wool feels slightly softer to the touch than the 'Jamieson's of Shetland'.

It's another beauty of a day here today on the Argyll coastline.

My wee buddy was out, nose deep in the garden helping his Nannie with the weeding.

I took this picture of him last week.  I could hardly find him under the blankets.
